It hasn't been a great weekend for me. Got belted in the footy, both watching and playing, chipped a tooth during the game against kingsley like a proper collingwood supporter. Had to pick up my car from the impound this morning, had this lingering flu for five weeks now and I'll be buggered if I can find my watch.. However for some reason I am still infuriatingly happy.

Pure speed in sixth gear on a 5,000 foot straightaway is one thing, but pure speed in third gear on a gravel-strewn, downhill, ess turn is quite another.

Got home last night after gym and a very interesting meeting to a house full of lit candles and an incredibly gorgeous woman waiting for me.

This topped off an awesome weekend, and precedes a night out tonight.

It's kicking all kinds of ass to be me.

Oh, also, folks should start imagining a world where MAD has a half hour tv special.

Even if it kills me, I will make that happen.

what sort of rounds you using? the blue suction cap ones fly better, but the black whistlers sound awesome

Glow disks , I do like the sound of the whistlers, might have to branch out a bit, all my wepons are able to take the same rounds, makes for better battles.

thanks to Desmo for an awesome dive today your a true gent
A motorcycle is a joy machine. It's a machine of wonders, a metal bird, a motorized prosthetic. It's light and dark and shiny and dirty and warm and cold lapping over each other; it's a conduit of grace, it's a catalyst for bonding the gritty and the holy.

    Project update - July 2012

    Learner Approved Motorcycle Scheme

The new Learner Approved Motorcycle Scheme (LAMS) received approval from Transport Minister Troy Buswell, and will come to effect in Western Australia at the end of this year. The Department has notified many of the stakeholders including the motorcycle industry.

    • LAMS will enable R-E class licence holders to ride motorcycles and scooters of a power to weight ratio not exceeding 150kw per tonne and an engine capacity of 660cc.
    • All learner approved motorcycles will be listed on the Department of Transport website, and will be updated regularly to include the new models of motorcycles and scooters.
    • The new scheme will not impact existing R class licence holders.
    • Existing R-E class licence holders will have a conversion period to enable a smooth transition. The Department is currently developing a range of public information packages on the scheme.
    Unlikely adventures require unlikely tools.

We have a three day drilling break in exploration at the moment. This is particularly handy as it allows me to catch up on a lot of paperwork that I'd ordinarily only have a couple of hours to do each week (in reality, it's closer to ten or so a week... it builds up). I knocked off a lot of my work earlier today to give myself some time off in the arvo to explore a few of the pits out here instead of the neighbouring tenements, something that I still hadn't done yet. I got a little bit geo-nerdy and brought my camera along.

Anyway, I've never played around with panoramas before. Never stitched up photos before. The pit tour was rewarding enough, but nutting out photo stitching and panoramas this evening I feel was even a bit more rewarding...

... today wasn't a bad day at all.
