Hi Mr Koola,

I am at work. I am Furiously colouring in with my crayons as I want to leave on time.

I am a big fan of having a thursday off. It splits the week in half. This means that there is only one day that isn't bordered by a day off.

Two days off is enough for me to remain productive with interesting things to do and still allow a moderate amount of relaxation. Three days or more tends to make me feel unproductive unless i've left my house, gone on holiday somewhere, or actively planned to do something with a significant portion of that day off.

I am good actually, work has been a bit meh but life as a whole is all coming up Nick at the moment, what with the acquisition of my BST's, holiday to Dunsborough and generally awesome people in my life. As such, I feel no need to publicly complain about my minor first world problems.

Currently I am writing up a health check definition sheet as I am stepping out of my standard role for 3 months on another project.

I look forward to any day off from work I have. Whether it is a day off to sit at home and indulge in a solid X-box marathon or I have something more intensive planned. Thursday off is a tough one and I find it hard not to justify taking the Friday off as well to make it the long weekend. I suppose it’s because when I take time off my workload will just accumulate for when I do return to work, so it would only result in me working twice as hard on a Friday.

Oh hi there Minnie Kickass Koola Mena Ripperton,

Awesome snack choice - packed with antioxidants and other good stuff and actually quite yummy. Well, you know what they say: you are what you eat.

Right now I am waiting to pick up the heiress from her first day of Year 3 - the only way to describe the feeling of this without me going on too much, is to say that the passage of time is bittersweet.

I don't have a job that produces any income, but I have work to do. Let's say that a public holiday is coming up, no uni for me, no school for the heiress, hubby off with his manly group of men doing manly group things. Then I would look forward to a sleepover for the heiress at Mum's and a seperate sleepover for me at a girlfriends' house (paging JenJam), to watch several episodes of whatever she has torrented and knows I will dig. She's not been wrong so far.

Periodical breaks are taken for deep and meaningful discourse and/or gossip. It's enriching, because in the absence of a child under my duty of care, I get to say fuck a lot, and other words besides (alcohol has, at times, been a factor). This has only resulted in one accidental drunk text to a PSB member, so far. Considering my tenuous grasp on technology, that is an exemplary record.

In the morning, our hunger motivates us to seek out a cooked breakfast, usually eggs benedict. (If you're going to visit Fat City, run for mayor).

It's not a weekly break, so I supplement it by occasionally offering my services to PSB as a shadow, which is also not often enough, or so my sources tell me. The only times I'm bothered by my obligations, are those times when I can sense that my time and/or effort is being wasted.

A few years ago my boyfriends computer shat itself, so he asked me to take it to some guy to get it fixed. I took it there, and waited around while he was asking me some questions. Nice old guy. Anyway, he needed the password, and I didn't know it, so he phoned the boyfriend and asked him. While he was talking to the boyfriend, the guy looked at me and blushed, and was trying not to laugh, so it was obvious that something wasn't quite right. When I got home, I asked him what the password was. It was:

I am ok. I am going on 2 weeks leave which is very nice but unforts it means I'm tying off an awful lot of loose ends other people created. Naw not really. I try and tee up lots of leave to mean I get a super awesome long weekend, but I'm not concerned about work load building up or anything. I'm only human (so I can only do so much in a day), and I'm way more productive than some other individuals so I feel pretty good about the work I produce.
