I think as you get older and hopefully a little more experienced, your imagination changes. Haven't seen any loss of it yet.
I'd hate to get de-sensitized to my own thoughts.

wtf?

Go take photos of the city from King's Park at night, of Freo Harbour at sunset, of the surf lifesaving guys training, of people dicking about on the river, of cars on the freeway interchange from the mount st overpass, of flowers in your garden or in a local park.

We all tend to get comfortable with a half dozen different types of picture and get stuck in the rut. Try something different - pick a place at random (and not for the photo potential, just somewhere), go there, give yourself 30 minutes to sit and look around and get a feel for something interesting, then another 30 minutes or so to shoot.

You will be amazed at what you will find. From Pirsig - if you can't find inspiration in your place of choice, narrow down the area to a single wall and start there.

Are you swollen up at all, Scoundrel? I had 3 wisdom teeth out in the chair over the space of the past few months.

Was always an interesting experience, they rip them out so quick!
