yup, got a head for heights, but usually only when i got a harness and lanyard attaching me to something solid
that's fucking awesome, specially the bits that are just crumbling away
"I think she's kinda sweet...but she makes her living catching cum in her mouth and i'm sensing that's a problem with you"
that'd be pretty cool, and pretty scary. i don't think i'd be walking along those beams![]()

You have to be fucking kidding me.![]()
In complete darkness we are all the same. It is only our knowledge and wisdom that seperate us. Dont let your eyes deceive you.
Its the little things that make the difference

Can't you tell that this is all just a contest,
The one that wins will be the one that hits the hardest!

Sweet! That looks awesome. I'd love to walk that.

In an interview with the New Scientist magazine marking his birthday, Stephen Hawking was asked what he thought about most during the day, and replied: "Women. They are a complete mystery."
Amen, brother. Amen.
That looks scarey - I'm not sure if I'd do it or not.
Along the lines of stupid height related things I've done... Bungee jumping's got nothing on the Shotover Canyon Swing in BroTown (AKA Queenstown, NZ)
Shotover Canyon Swing, Queenstown, New Zealand : Gravity Is A Toy
It wasn't so much the swinging after the counterweights come into play... it wasn't so much the 60m freefall where I thought I was honestly going to hit the rocks below. It was more so the act of actually making your body step off a platform into NOTHINGNESS that terrifies.
The guys who run this have been doing it for years and have a pyschic ability to size you up and make you jump in the most terrifying way for you. Mine was simply stepping off forwards... I would've much rathered being tied to a chair with a blindfold and kicked off backwards!!!
how about having a bin put over your head, being told it is on fire, and being violently shoved off the edge?
Erm no thx.
However, they do something similar with the "Gimp" jump... hood over head, swing you out and fiddle with the harness then scream out that somethings undone whilst pulling the pin and ripping off the hood.
canyon swing is alright, I guess...
I found the nevis highwire way more fun...
first jumper of the day with iced over pulleys = very scary...
one of the guys was supported by another rope and they slowly cut it with a knife and then let it slowly break strand by strand....
speaking of crazy people doing crazy heights stuff, dan osman was a crazy free-soloer

one of mates hung onto a rope then got realeased, so he was just hanging of the rope, then they started yelling that it wasnt connected. You could hear him screaming from the viewing platform![]()
hahaha yeah there are some awesome jumps they do.
I would go back and do it again.... maybe.
Ahah Im hopefully heading back to Q-town for the third time next year
I really SHOULD travel somewhere else... but thats a lot of effort aha
why would you go elsewhere? Actually, id like to go boarding in canada or europe, but thats mucho expensive
Yeah the cost factor is huge to go north, and its during our summer when I normally work...
Also places like whistler somehow manage to have more Australians than Australia does, you get a lot of euro backpackers in Q-town, which is always much more fun![]()
Q-Town is
I assume you'd be familiar with FergBurger????? Why WOULD you go elsewhere for snowboarding holidays when BroTown has it all.
FERGBURGER = king
and theres a little 24 hour deli just down the road from THE BUFFALO CLUB ($4.80NZ for 2 handles of Tui =) and they serve up a MASSIVE box of wedges with bulk sour cream and sweet chilli sauce for $3.50
and 5 of us racing down the mountain on the Luge rides at the gondola/cafe thingo...
although climbing up the mountain instead of just taking the cablecar was a crazy and tiring adventure
