no way in the world you would get a stock v8 commodore running anywhere near 11's for 10k - no way, unless you dropped it off a cliff

Trust me I spent $15 kay (parts only) on turbos, cams, injectors etc getting a GTR to reliably run mid 11's. A stock v8 commodore ute (which I owned) with a 6litre gen 4, ran 14.1.

I then spent $8k on extractors, race cats exhaust, Kostecki CAI, diff gears and tuning and got it down to 12.8's. Cams would take you into the $10k range and maybe shave off another 2 or 3/10 th's at most taking you down to mid 12's.

To get a commodore into the 11's you would need all of the above plus a blower and you would still be pushing high 11's.

Getting a car into the flat to low 12's is expensive, then to take off 1/10th of a second from there goes up exponentially

A slower car (probably turbo) can beat a faster bike where torque might come on to play. Say 100km/h roll on. 500hp car (eg skyline) v near stock 600cc supersport.

But the if grip becomes a problem the 600 will wipe the floor with the car
