    Hey all,

seeing as there are a few posts about jobs on here.. I might aswell add one!! haha

anyone know of any jobs going as of late?
Id kinda prefer something both indoor/outdoor (whilst I dont mind working in an office environment, I like to get out into the world and actually be part of it).
I currently have prior experience in data input/reception and cleaning type work, (but im not too fond of customer work.. in fact I quite hate it )

    any ideas, suggestions, jobs?
(Figured I give this a whirl, never know.. )

    Outside Settlement Clerk.

Spend ya day wandering around town, attending property settlements, chatting to the other clerks.

Good racket, Fair pay, limited customers (only other clerks).

Look on Seek or maybe still in the paper.

Cheers Dingo, Just looked this up, sounds interesting, might look into it some more!

    Btw, I'm back in the job hunting books.. Though this time I now have experience in;
    - Customer Service
    - Organising deliveries & delivery drivers
    - Picking and Packing
    - Keeping records of POD's, Returns
    - Semi-Supervising and training people in all of the above.
    - Labouring
    - Geophysical data logging (Down hole surveying).

I've also gotten better with customer service work
Good fun for me (not.. hate job hunting its shite)
    Should go overseas Hahaha

I've considered that in the past for memory, however using my own vehicle and having to maintain it and subcontract out etc in my opinion sucks.

    But thanks Rider

One book that's full of good job hunting clues is "What Color is your Parachute". Updated annually, worth a read for all kinds of reasons.

Wasnt thinking of a Sub-Contract curriour..There are companies who will give you the car/light truck and you just drive and deliver...Have you got a HR licence?

If you dont mine the work-away Geophys stuff, with less hard work, drop an email to Andrew Carpenter (my boss).
details here: Geotech Airborne Australia - Airborne Geophysical Surveys
    Dont mind the dated website.

Thanks Breyten, but I think I'll be taking a break from the Geophys stuff!
    but much appreciated!

    Considering my options once more.
    - Save up some more, store my bike/belongings at my bro's house and go overseas on a working holiday
    - Sell the bike (possibly have to save more anyway) and then go overseas
    - Find more work locally in Perth and just save more money etc.

Not like we actually get into it much though.
most of the day is support work, and refuelling the helicopter.

Its also FIFO stuff too :/ I'm wanting a break from that for the moment too.
Might look at getting back into it years down the track, but not now. Cheers though!
