Job Wanted: Mechanical Designer/Drafter

Hi everyone,

I just got made redundant, so I'm looking for another job.

My basics are;

Associate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
8 years experience, last 5 primarily with Autodesk Inventor
Have designed Semi-trailers, earthmoving accesories, agricultural equipment and Hotwater systems.

KBR/Lycopodium are firing people, but apparently Hatch are hiring for Civil and possibly electrical.

My step-brother just got made redundant at Lycopodium, but KBR were screaming for civil people when I left there in December. So I'm a bit surprised by that.

I'll poke around at work and see if they need anyone.

Last I heard Hatch was laying off staff too, so I wouldnt think that they would be looking.
Have you tried any recruitment agents?
