Malaga Vet Clinic
Capital Road Malaga..
One of the best!
Malaga vet clinic

yeah, malaga vet is a PSB-accredited vet!
but if that's too far, maybe try Lathlain Vet Clinic?
they look after our beagle, and slightly exxy vs other vets but i'm very happy with them.
Going t'other way, have had nothing but good experiences with Eastern Hills Vet Clinic in Mundaring.
They've been known to be amenable to doing deals, installment terms etc. too if cash is a problem.
does anyone have the number for Malaga vte clinic????
thanks heaps for all your help.....
much appreciated
mods, can we close this thread please. thanks![]()

I know its allot further but I consider Applecross vet one of the best in perth ( top 3), oh and never take your pet to balcatta vet..
thanks for the advice Mr Moose. I think it was the Malaga one i was looking for, as i knew PSB had a member who has a vet clinic... So am probably gonna take my puppy there.
but thanks for all the advice people.. much appreciated.
Another good vet is Morley Vetinary Centre, or something like that. I should know cos thats where my sister works lol.
Oh and they also do doggy day care, as crazy as that may seem they always get lots of dogs coming in for that, guess its a bit of company, they can get a bath. Its just amusing watching a great dane pick up my sisters kelpie and move her because shes in the way of the door.
thanks for that. I will keep that in mind, as my poor puppy had her first night alone last night, and she wasn't happy. WE took the rest of her litter to the pet shop to sell yesterday, and she was feeling it.... so a doggy day care is something i will keep in mind......
just looking at getting her vacination shots first..... then puppy school a month or so later......

Lolly and I just took our 12 year old cat Mugsy there as it was the only after hours vet we could find urgently.
I am a bit concerned to read the above comment as we didn't get the best impression of this clinic.
We got quoted up to $1200 for some painkillers, anti-inflammatories, intravenous fluids and to keep him under observation for 24 hours.
Seemed a bit steep and, as if that wasn't alarming enough, they wouldn't even give him any treatment until after we left (having first had to leave a cash deposit).
By way of constrast my normal vet immediately takes action to make the animal comfortable and asks for payment later.
Can someone please give some positive feedback for Balcatta Vet clinic so that I can sleep easier with the thought that our cat will be well looked after?

Sure.
Took Trippa there one night as she appeared to be paralysed.
They did a check, asked if she had fallen from anything and then gave her a shot of buscapam(?) and a valium product.
They said they had no idea what it was but if she was alive the next day it wasn't poison, if she couldn't move (still) she had a back injury and if there was nothing wrong with her she would be fine.
They offered to keep her there (at huge cost) but after an honest chat we concluded that if she died she would die there alone or she could die at home in my arms.
Needless to say she survived, but the next time it happened we reviewed the days activities and that was when I found out dogs are allergic to macadamia nuts.
They paralyse and potentially kill dogs and there is not much that can be done.
So Balcatta vet taught me not to let my dog eat nuts. They charged me a lot of money for the lesson, but given I fed my dog whatever I was eating they probably saved her life.
Would I use them again?
Only if I had to.
I cradled Trippa in my arms all night that first time, crying at what I could lose. Never again did she spend a night alone and sick in a vet surgery. If she was going to die then she would die, loved, in my arms.
That was the other thing I learnt from Balcatta vet.
Probably not what you want to hear, but these were wonderful things I gained from using Balcatta vet.
I hope your pet pulls through with out any problems. Losing a loved one hurts no matter what they are.

Warton Road Animal Hospital.
Gulliver was extremely sick and at deaths door this time last year.
He is still here and annoying me!
We also have now have a stray budgie that they helped take care of (looked like he was going to lose an eye).
Why be difficult?
Put some effort into it and be IMPOSSIBLE !

Yea sorry.
They will have someone checking on your cat all night.
If they can do anything they will.
At least they have someone on premises all night that can respond to any problems.
They will do their best for your cat.
If not for love then for money.
Sorry spock, I should have shown more empathy.
