Get a hairdryer onto the input, quickly. A bit of boost will sort it out no problems.

I think you have def seen a power gain with the new system. It's just being able to get the power down to the ground with the carbon dioxide hitting you in the face that's your main problem.

nice one Cap'n, is this what you had in mind?? (see attachment)

didnt help that much either but i think its going the right direction, fyi as well as the dryer i tried some other hair related electrical appliances including a straightener, curling wand and an electric brush, however i'm quite convinced the dryer had the best results

minor problem tho Braah that you didnt think of i bet, you can only mow as far as the extension cord reaches and it was very easy to mow your own electricity supply. as a result i now have 15 very short extension leads.

I must say this project is really bringing the family together, why just today the wife showed some interest in what was going on:

wife: "Aaron, have you seen my hair drier, i think the kids have made off with it again"
me: "no sweety, its fine, iv'e got it, i've attached it to the lawnmower"
wife " you've done what now??"
so i proudly showed her and then she said
wife "oh, ok, see wot you mean. why did you do that then"
me " because captain starfish told me it was a good idea and it asap as it would fix the problem"
wife " hubbie, you really are being a complete fucktard"
(i looked it up - A person considered to be foolish or socially inept while also being irritatingly offensive.)

anyhoo it was a VidalSasson one, and i tried it on all three settings so i dont know if that makes a difference, im still not happy so im gonna try sharkys ideas next. then ive got a few others to weed a few of the hp i know are locked inside this sleeper.

dont say im not open to suggestions!

    thanks for your question comrade

i think the best way to answer this is using sound logic reasoning. however i will be answering your question in yards, cause, like, thats what you mow, right?, you mow your yard, you don't mow a meter. (daaaah ), i'll try and convert it back for you.

So I have 2 yards, one small front and one medium back one, but for the sake of simplicity we'll just deal with the back one.

The yard is about 15m long, not across, you cant use this calculation for across, or you just fuck the whole thing up.
there are 3 feet in a yard
and 3.28 feet in a metre
therefore my back yard is 1968.5 inches long

the extension cord was 5m long and i plugged it in with my left hand.
it took an hour or so to mow the back yard

there are 60 minutes in an hour
    60 seconds in a minute

i have two feet that are about 24cm long
so that works out to 208, i hope that answers your question satisfactorily

it would have been faster without the extension cord tho, with all the mending it and all.

Remember the days when performance was so simple? A Holley , some extractors and a cam- the thing was fully worked
Nowdays it's solar , physics and rampant cross promotion.

What would mr Briggs and mr Stratton think of the whole situation?

Won't somebody think of the children?

Hmm, I was always told you could shave 3-thou off the dipstick, and put lumpy oil in it to really get them to work. Gives it that nice note on idle too.

Considered +1/2 teeth on the rear sprocket to get better pick up?

It needs an EFI conversion to take advantage of the mods.

It amazing how people over-complicate these upgrades.
Intelligence and education are three sides of the same coin.
