megapixels are the bhp of cameras, the makers keep upping them, everybody wants more and more but seldom use them all effectively if at all
smart phones have virtually killed off the entire digital camera segment with their existing shit cameras they'll make big news about the fact they can start to take a half decent picture, and what a technological leap forward for mankind this is.......
now you have nothing to compare it to you cant work out it was the same result as you could get 5 years ago
also they wont do it all in one move - planned obsolescence, the key to retail
