My mum is eldest of 10. And back in those days of struggle you would think they would stop at 1 or 2. My nan always said she was blessed with every single one of them.
So a single woman should be allowed to breed via IVF and have 14 kids?
1. She has no partner. This means no kids.
2. She needed IVF to have kids, then had 14 of them. Playing god much?
The way I see it IVF is a treatment and should not be provided to people with no medical condition (i.e. life choice). A girls choice not to have sex with a man is fine, but that choice should preclude her from IVF.
Our doctor in Canberra just got sued for $317,000 by a gay couple who ended up with twins and while I see the error that was made, ffs there are people in this world that would give anything to have one, and yet they get to complain! Go have sex with a man and see what the lottery of life throws at you!

The world is overpopulated enough as it is. We're running out of oil, water, land and this idiot is popping out 14 kids? Ah Americans, the world would be so boring without them to laugh at!
Everything is choice! Some people dont want partners to rear children. Some want to go it alone. If they didnt want to let women like her have that many attempts at IVF then a law would be put in place.
Perhaps she has had to many diastrous relationships to rely on the service of a mans sperm.
Either natural or IVF I think we are lucky to have the option.
But I draw the line at IVF as a purpose to get a certain sex of a child.
Is there a reason why she has so many? Is it medical or just that she wants loads of squids?

I thought the fuss over this story when I heard it a few days ago was that she's single, has no savings and is on welfare. Maybe I heard wrong as it's not mentioned in your linked article.

I'm not convinced that "Mother of 14" isn't an oxymoron.
I just hope that "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" show is still running in a few years so they can build her a house, set her up and maybe her kids will have a chance.
