2012 is a good movie, but the storyline a 5 year old can tell whats going to happen, and if you know bugger all about anything you can see holes in the story line like when the planes flying in shit conditions, like in the ash from the volcano, where the grounds opening up below it .... it wouldnt be flying put it that way

the only time it seemed scary was right at the end, but thats just the suprise that happened not because of the ghost.
Would of been good at the cinema, hearin everyone else trippin out, although it more unnerving, the movie does well at setting a tone, with only a $15 000 budget, there a rumours of a sequel.

Just now watched Quentin Tarantino's DeathProof. I'm confused,I don't know whether to like it or not. But I sure loved Zoe Bell in the movie--

    Thumbs up

Thought i'd give you all my opinion on my recent viewings.

2012. Piece of shit. Anyone who says otherwise is confused by the overuse of CGI and needs to wait till the DVD comes out or borrow my copy and watch it again. The voice in your head will say "nice graphics but that was a piece of shit"... and it is correct. NASA seriously released a statement to debunk this movie.. WTF for.

The Worlds Greatest Dad. Blackest Comedy I've watched in ages. Robin Williams is awesome and it is funny. I kept thinking "did they really just make a comedy based on that though? "

Harry Brown . Awesome movie, great plot, great acting. Watch it.

Surrogates . good action movie. I liked it, bit "I robot" meets "minority report".

    The Hangover. Funny as F*ck.

The Box Seriously WTF? Don't know, need to watch it again. Really odd film, maybe.... Took along time to go somewhere and when it got.... er . Good Twist though.... I think.

The Bad Lieutenant. . Didn't really have a story line that went anywhere other than that of a sort of leaving las vegas with drugs.

Inglorious Basterds. . Tarantino war movie... excellent. Cant help thinking though that all the americans will watch this and go, "ahhhh thats how we won the war".

The Great Buck Howard. . Its got malkovich in it, enough said.

The taking of pelham 123. . Awesome. See it its worth it.

Didnt you think Pelham was fairly stupid?

Its like they said " we have Tavolta and Washington on board so dont worry about the plot or anything, just make it tense and dramatic."

So much of that move didnt make sense when you go back and look at it.

At the time i thought it was pretty dam good. Not expecting it to win an oscar but for a night in with a glass of wine. It ticked my boxes, but then again i might have had one too many bottles of wine.

    Your confused... stop it.

They didn't even have the dignity to destroy Paris. If you want to sell a shitty disaster movie, you have to blow up Paris... Armageddon. anus splittingly bad movie, watchable because they blow up paris.

Yeah definitely watchable but only because of the actors not the storyline.

    Spoiler: show
Why did he keep saying he served the city breakfast and then in the end his job had nothing to do with food? Why didnt he wear a mask when he knew they could see him and he had a record? You would think a simple mask would have saved him

The original with Walter Matthau is better.

Watched Eagle Vs Shark last night, a dorky love story, culminating with a fight with a paralyzed Samoan.

i have a theory about Travolta.

Take one possibly awesome action/drama movie
Add one John Travola playing evil dude
Mix for a few two-minute trailers
Bake for an hour and a half
Result- an unintentional comedy with the cheesiest bad guy this side of Nic Cage.

    face off is dismal

the rock, on the other hand, is plenty cheesy enough to be fun, and has motherfucking Sean Connery
