Angry Murphys Law - Does It Again!

Fuck!!!..... have had company cars since I was 17 (am now 21) not once have I had a crash/ding/scrape or scratch on ANY of them. 1 Week into owning my OWN new pride and joy some old fucker backs into me in a car park in freo and drives off!!!... I was having lunch at the time, came back to find the ute with a massive dent and a cracked bumper. Luckily some extremely nice lady saw it all happen and took the rego of the old bastards that did it and put a note on my windscreen to give her a call .....

Just wish I caught them doing it...

always the way with new cars. My ute has dings and shit all over it from clowns in car parks. Even has a decent dent in the front where someone has dropped something on the bonnet.

I think they just hate utes

Bugger. But at least you have their details.

I once was sitting in my nice shiny new car when the dude next to me opened his car door into me. He had a quick look to see if anyone saw (dark, mirrored privacy tint) and proceeded to walk off. He got a rude shock when I got out and confronted him.

Anyhow he agreed to fix the dent. Unlucky for him it was expensive as the guard he hit was a lightweight plastic that can't be 'mended'. New guard was bought t his expense. Bad luck for me when my two year old decided to clean the same guard a few weeks later....with a wire brush!

Good luck with getting it fixed.

Dont know if this has ever happened but I always approach people who do this or leave my name and address for the victim for witness puposes.

A taxi guy did that to my mates car and tried to drive off, he jumped in front of the car, the dude reversed and tried heading off in the other direction, so he punched the dudes window in (he was a little under the influence at the time haha)

What is it with Perth? Seems like every time I look at our car there's another door opening dent, marked up bumper or shopping trolley hit.
Had this car for years out of Perth, not a mark on it.

Like usual, no one wants to take responsibility for their own fucking actions. The first time someone ran into the arse end of my Subaru he went from being nice about it to "Oh shit, he has insurance and his bumper is worth more than my uninsured car" fairly quickly. He actually had the nerve to suggest there was a dent in my bumper in the exact spot he hit me before and that I was just taking advantage of the situation.

Normally, I'd have been nicer about it, even thought about giving him time to pay cash before dragging insurance into it. He burnt that bridge.

I know someone who had this happen at UWA a few years back. Was along the lines of "I'm so sorry, but i can't afford to repair your car, and i'm writing this so people around me think im doing the same thing. Have a great day "

On the other hand, i parked on a side street, and some douchebag decided he could squeeze between a bus and my car. He hit my car, damaged the rear bumper, driver rear quarter panel, the boot door, and mis-aligned my steering slightly. Thank god some guy saw him and left a rego and name on my window. Thought it was at ticket first though!!!
