Quick whois search reveals a little info :

Funnily enough, the google searches on Masina Pty Ltd and the winningpost.tv part of the contact email address revealed that both are based in Tassie, in the same area and I'll bet dollars to donuts that they are at the same address, it just smells that way.
Somehow it's reassuring knowing that I'm not the only one pretending to be normal.

Depends on what sort of debt they're counting? Mortgages etc too?

Super awesomesauce doom clock of reckoning isn't super awesomesaucedoom clock of reckoning. NMI
Gutsy question. You're a shark. Sharks are winners, and they don't look back because they have no necks. Necks are for sheep.

na dont worry bout it, its just one figure outa a financial that some slack jawed hippy cum puppet in tassie is flashing up, it takes money to make money, on the flip side, according to wiki

In 2011, Western Australia's overseas exports represented 43.1% of the nation's total exports,
If Western Australia were a separate country, it would be among the Top 50 economies in the world by GDP.

Tasmania has been said to be over reliant on revenue from the Aust government, ( guess where a lot of that revenue comes from..... )
I cant help it if my reality doesnt match your perceptions

Being in debt is not a bad thing, as long as you can continue to service your debt, which we can... You need to borrow money to make money...

The US also has a much larger economy than Australia, so its not really an apples-for-apples comparison. It isn't really sensible to look at debt in dollars as a standalone figure. To put it into a bit more perspective:

Australia's debt is around 21% of GDP.

The EU as a whole is around 80%.

The US' debt is around 100%.

Greece and Italy are both around 120%.

    Japan is around 210%.

As far as developed countries go, Australia has one of the lowest debt to GDP ratios there is. The only thing is the media like to through large numbers around to scaremonger. OMG, we are $15 billion dollars in debt!

I'm sure I'm not the only one here who's mortgage is higher than their annual gross income, and yet nobody thinks that is a big deal... But 20% of GDP in debt is?

Wasn't that bloody sunny when Missus Venkman and I were for christmas 2 years ago, day after we arrived it rained for 3 fucken weeks, ontop of that we were there for a wedding in the October and Brisvegas flooded as well! At one point Brisbane Airport was almost shut because there was way too much standing water on the runway,.
