An ever increasing number of members have been receiving either "Warnings" or "Infractions" for matter such as:
  • "Insulted Other Member(s)"
  • "Inappropriate Language"
Some of you have expressed either outrage, disbelief or outright abuse regarding the warning or infraction received. Some of you request that it be reversed on certain grounds, perhaps as it was intended to be a joke, etc.

Basically, the staff call infractions as they see it. We have a large community to cater for, and we cannot be expected to know every user's quirks, joke arsenal or level of humour (or lack of). If we see what we feel to be either inappropriate language being exhibited, either towards another member or in general, we may issue you with an infraction. If you disagree with it, you can PM the moderator or administrator that gave it to you.

But I can tell you straight, it is an extremely slim chance that you have of getting it reversed. Each and every infraction is copied to the Staff Area and reviewed by Administrators and discussed. Your only real chance of it being reversed is if they feel it excessive. And THAT, is even rarer than the chances of the Dockers winning the AFL Premiership this year (or any year for that regard!).

So what we're saying is - If you get an infraction, it's obviously deserved. Suck it up and build a bridge. Or even better, think about what you post before hitting the "Submit Post" button.
