NWS: Stuff that looks like other stuff (and accidental goatse)...
Well, in a thread yesterday I posted up an image to which someone responded "isn't that the vodafone logo". These are the images I'm talking about

vodafone obviously
and

the KKK logo
certainly some similarities there...
what have you seen that could easily be mistaken for something else?Last edited by kwakas; 17-07-2008 at 12:07 PM.

this one may surprise a few...

most recognised symbol of our times perhaps....incites hatred and racism.

this is the origional symbol and its meaning.....the germans stole it and bastardised it from its true meaning...
The swastika is a familiar sight to all those raised in Hindu culture. It adorns spiritual books, pictures of Deities, and religious implements used in worship services. Swastikas are common on Hindu wedding invitations. In fact a symbol that appears to westerners to be a swastika in the middle of a Jewish star of David has been used for thousands of years as a symbol of the combined blessings of Lord Ganesha (the remover of obstacles) and his brother Karttikeya (the god of love and the remover of negativity). By the way, contrary to anything you might be told, Swastika is not and has never been a German word. It is ancient Sanskrit from India which has simply been used so often in this century in connection with Hitler that its origins have been totally forgotten.

Swastika-bearing Coca-Cola Robot Draws Big Jewish Fuss | Altermedia news U.S.A.
In 2003 in Hong Kong, Coca Cola released these little robots with swastikas on them. They still pop up every now and then
It sucks, because it's a cool symbol in all of it's different forms, just need to forget the nazi rubbish

our friend's holiday house in Bali [way cheaper than having something in margs or Yallingup would you believe] is covered in Swastikas, imprinted into the roof tiles and carved into the front door.
