Official Thread for Random Photos (That dont deserve their thread)

I cant find the old one ATM ... so we'll start a new one. With the number of shutterbugs on PSB its probably time to put this back up.

Please use this thread to post all your non bike related pictures.

Cheers to Redfern for the prompt and Bendito for the title.

Please adhere to some basic ground rules for this thread:

Images must be 800 x 600 in size.

Do not pick on others for their grammar or spelling.

No NWS images ... keep them for the babes section or PM them to the staff

One of the things I see a lot of queries about is locations.

I thought as part of this thread we can complile a list of good locations either for shots of the bike or just shots in general.

Im happy to add places to the list if people want to post them up. If you can add a google map that would be fantastic.

Photographic Locations

South Perth Foreshore
Kings Park
Nanga Mill at Lane Pool Reserve in Dwellingup

Ashmo, where is that first one from? That place looks

EDIT:

Can we have a size limit for the images as well? I mean... not everyone has screens that do 1600x1400 or whatever...

Yeah I was surprised Tin Tin, I have no idea how to take photos but they were all just out of the box on auto mode.

The lemon is actually about 4 ft above my head and I just zoomed in.

The fly and Warnie are just on macro with a normal 18-55 lense, and I didnt even have awesome light or anything the curtains were closed and the room itself would have been basically to dark to read a book in for any period of time.

Yet somehow it just worked.

On the weekend I will get my olympus point and shoot camera back from my Gf and take a series of comparison shots to show the difference.

No one is going to have a smaller resolution than that I guess. I don't know, what will the shooting boys think of that though? Will they lose much quality?

800 x 600 @ 72 dpi - Still reasonable resolution for a screen shot as long as your not trying to blow it up.

Thats awesome Hewie, I love that water.

Im torn because something about my personality makes me not want to be one of those people who has a tripod, but obviously its a pipe dream to think I can get away with not having one.

If anyone has a spare one they want to flog let me know.

Haad Rin Beach, Koh Phangan - Thailand
Not the best of shots but reasonable considering I was fiddling with exposure whilst drunk, without a tripod on a tiny little Canon IXUS

Reunification Palace, Saigon - Vietnam (Grrrr go away tourists, get out of my photo!)
