    I would have liked to be there for just prior to sunset, for the light. Certainly a great location for the old Herbert Hoover house,nowadays, perched on the very edge of the pit.

    I took this shot with a Canon G7 from a plane window a couple of years ago as we flew into Melbourne. It was a very hazy shot, but after running a couple of filters across it (Pro Contrast from Color Efex Pro, and Topaz Simplify), I think it's quite interesting now.

    Eaach to their own and I think its cool you are experimenting but I think the beauty of photography is in the detail, I really dont get these Faux painting photos.

    I think the top one is awesome.

    Im really not trying to have a go Sven I just dont see the point.(other than experimentation)
