edit: oh just noticed the background effect added..
Masked the bike, adjusted with Topaz Detail and Topaz Clean. Adjusted Curves on the background, and used another option in Topaz Clean. Finally, added the frame.

I have fucking wood, those are amazing.
If I had to be a giant photo nerd, I'd say to include a bit more foreground, to put things into perspective.
In life you only get one lap, might as well make it a good one.
30 sec exposure, f8 you say? Hmmmmm. I might have to give that a go. I was on 1/250 f2.8. I would assume I am getting purple hues from not fixing my white balance, but thought that if I went any longer exposure, the flashes would really overexpose. Damn you Ralph.I thought mine were pretty good till I saw yours.
Lets hope we get a few more this week. I could do with the practice.

Absolutely, was thinking that myself. Also places it in a local perspective for those who can recognise the surroundings.

Ok, tried it a little differently last night. Wider angle, to get some foreground in. Rain unfortunately arrived early, but I got this before it did
windy, so the long exposure means the trees are blurred 2 1sec, f8. photo was cropped a little. One day, I'll get one that spectacular, up close
