That one of the puppy and the basketball is too cuteIt came out very well

Just had a shot at an assignment from Digital Photo School for the first time. I'm very new to SLR, obviously got a lot to learn, but I'm a little proud of this one. The theme for the assignment was 'Ghetto Lighting,' meaning use whatever light is laying around rather than flash or pro lighting. In this case the light was my bicycle headlight. The problems that leap out at me are that its a little out of focus, and a bit noisy. I'm having plenty of fun working on it though.

What does noisy mean in terms of photography?
Thats an awesome shot nanobear.
Rat better people can explain it betterer than me but basically as I understand it noise is when blacks or dark shades dont come out black instead they come out sort of hazy instead of pitch black.
Noisy = Grainy.
Nice photo Nano.
It has a dual purpose. ~ Tom Smitheringale
