This is what I said, and I specifically excluded racial references to make the point. The fact that I had to point out that the issue was with the DRIVING and not their RACE should have made it clear. The fact that I have to even state it indicates where we are in society at present.

I am *not* repeat *not* racist. I do not tolerate any sort of commentary in my presence - work/play/leisure - that would lead to racist stereotyping. However, I have seen this sort of thing in action, where someone of a "minority" has acted like a child in an attempt to get something that they are not entitled to. If they use the "you are treating me like shit because I am *****" then they are undermining the whole basis of our society which has determined that it should be as "colour-free" as possible. In practice most of us would agree that we have a ways to go in this endeavour, but blindly labelling every sideways comment as being racist is unhelpful.

You can pick at almost any conversation to get the bits that suit your particular point of view, and then use it to justify your own position or flame someone else, to get whatever kicks you enjoy.

My point being that some people (of a minority background - perhaps but not exclusively) USE their monority status to avoid justified (perhaps) criticism of their driving style on the basis that SAID criticism is soley and exclusively based upon their race/minority membership.

My original post NEVER mentioned RACE, it mentioned MINORITIES using the racism banner for their own ends to corrupt a process. Then I was branded a racist.
