Perth has been invaded!

I apologise if this has been covered before, but, there is a space invader on the Mount St. footbridge of the Freeway in the city.

I always thought this was cool, and had had it mentioned to me that there was more around perth.

I have done some internet investigating, and have found out that they are tile mosaics done by french grafiti artist known as - wait for it - SPACE INVADER. He did them just before he appeared at the Mono Culture exhibition in late October 2002. There are 26 around Perth, and a map was distributed at the exhibition.

I appear to have a copy of the map now (I think it is anyway), and now I want to try find them all.

does anyone remember that space ship that was in perth in a little park
beside the road.... (cant remember what park or road it was, it was years
ago.. it was south of the river too )
you used to able to play in it and push buttons and the lights would work...
then something happend and they locked it up, so it just sat there...
its been years since it has been moved....
anyone remember what im talking about ?
