New York cops will be bored shitless here. Unless half the reason they want to come over is so they can stand around pointing hair dryers at cars. It'd be like a holiday for them.
Maybe it should work the other way and we should send WA cops over to the US for training.
Then they might be less inclined to do the menial jobs like cracking down on FEs and partially hidden rego disks.
Might work in a positive light for us. The NYPD are so used to doing serious actual police work that they won't bother themselves with little incidental things...perhaps finding them to be as silly as we do.

I dont know what people are bitching about- you should be happy they are coming here- they are a hell of a lot nicer than most WA cops are. I lived in the US for many years and the last thing they cared about were fender elims, speeding (within reason) etc etc. they give a LOT more leeway than most cops.
unless things have changed since I lived there.
