How old is Clawed? Mischief is 12 but he's a big baby.

Missus Venkman reckons he's about 14 or 15, his name originally was Hendrix I have since discovered, admittedly he does look quite stoned when asleep, however he has never gotten out of the psycho kitten hunting mode, races around the flat then hides around a corner and tries to ankle tap you as you walk past, just has the claws out when he does it hence the name.

Regular wash with some warm salty water or diluted dettol will sort it prety quick.

Clawed recently had a stoush with a cat a couple doors down, came back with a small nick on his lower jaw, couple days later looked like he had mumps, unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your point of view) I was cleaning the lump with some warm salty water one night and the bloody thing burst, there was a little claret, mainly pus (I thought baby shit smelled bad), cleaned it out and it was healed up in two or three days. Missus V reckons it saved us a couple of hundred dollars easily.

Ran into the other cats owner, she'd had to take hers to the vet, Clawed apparently fucked her cat up pretty good, it was on anti biotics for 4 days or so, she said it cost her three hundred or so.

We only realised when his eye closed up and it was too late. Needed lancing at the vet.

He now owes us 142 mice and 12 rats to square up.

Last week Mischief (Clawed look-alike) got in a fight and had an abcess above the same eye as Weezil. He's also 12. The abcess is healing now and it's less noticeable than Weezil's. About $200 for a course of anitibiotics including the consultation. As you said, it smelt fucking awful when it popped.
