So I finally got my daughter to ride without training wheels, and she picked up a fair pace with me jogging behind. My jogging turned to running as she confidently sped along, and as I saw the front wheel start to wobble, I tried to slow down to her speed in an attempt to grab her or the bike. In doing so I tripped over my own feet, pushing my child to the ground. She didn't hit the ground very hard at all, and I had her arms & legs covered up, just in case. In fact she would have escaped unharmed, had my clumsy foot not come crushing down on her little hand, causing some bleeding and much crying.

I'm a bad mother.
