Well I don't see why an alligator (or crocodile) would eat an already dead (most likely rancid) animal if there is a perfectly fresh one WITH A BROKEN LEG nearby.

Dont know about alligators but crocodildos do stash their kills so they can decompose a little before chowing down to make digestion easier.

I made the comment in Melchoir's thread about his broken leg being a minor-ish injury. In no way was I detracting from the seriousness of it though. I just think that in direct proportion to what the possible outcomes could have been - hit by car, come off bike, asshole runs and doesn't offer assistance possibly extenuating injuries as first aid isn't administered straight away....a broken leg is not too bad an outcome. I too would be gutted with a broken leg and not being able to ride for the next 6 - 8 weeks.

It wasn't a dig dude; just quoting out of context. In terms of the realms of possibilities for injury in a motorcycle accident, I do agree that it could be a lot worse.

It's just as a stand alone injury (pun not intended); I'd be devastated by a broken leg.

How many times did you have to have tonsilitis before they removed them?
My youngest daughter has had a couple of really bad bouts in a short amount of time. Doctors say they have to have it 6 times in a year before they will take them out because of the risk.

I call bullshit. Had mine out when I was 5....no dramas.

I had huge tonsils apparenty, and I used to get them infected all the time, maybe 5 or 6 times a year, everytime i got a bit sick basically. From what I've read, they don't like taking kids ones out because most of them get better with age.

I normall don't have a problem with them but when a 4 year old can't breathe or swallow because of the swelling around the air tract I question their judgement. Happened a couple of weeks consecutively.

I get tonsilitis every 4-6 months basically whenever I get crook and ask every time to have them out and they just prescribe antibiotix... I've gotten to the point that I know when its coming now and if you get it early its just irritating for a couple of days...

Still, it gives me the shits, I want them gone.

Right, so apparently there are a number of vaginas who are very unimpressed with the lack of new and productive threads on the topic of motorcycles in the general bike talk area.

Little late on the bandwagon here, but maybe that's because theres only a finite amount of topics to talk about whilst being related to SERIOUS ON TOPIC BIKE RELATED THINGS . They don't change how many wheels they have, insurance stays roughly the same, etc etc.

If you want to keep things fresh, and interesting, you need *gasp* an off topic section!!
