they were there about 6pm, and still around when i came back past at 830 or so. smelt funny, and all i could see was some shit had fallen off a dodgy looking truck. i'm thinking dangerous chemicals maybe? there was a shitload of police, and quite a lot of fireys too in their full gear. no debris on the road.
keen to know what it was.
They were there when I was on the way to the WSR at about 6pm and when I went past again about half an hour ago. Batteries apparently.

The new rules are a great idea, but how does someone get approval to post in the for sale section?
Is it automatic or do the mods have to approve a user and manually check the quality of the 10 posts made to get approval?

I'd say it's pretty easy to vet newbies. Check joindate 1st. Check postcount 2nd.

automatic. there's a database query that runs every hour that promotes users in the registered group once they satifsy the targets (30 days AND 10 posts).
the mods will just be keeping an active eye on new users posting +1 or other one word crap replies everywhere.
it's more the 30 days than anything, if you're keen to sell something, a month to wait would piss most off elsewhere.
Possibly unwise idea of the day:
I'm currently thinking about trying to swap/trade my CBR for either a Blackbird, or registered dirty, and using the leftover money to buy the other bike. I assume that I'd have more success with dirt bike riders looking for their first sportsbike than someone looking to go from a Blackbird to a CBR600.
Why? I'd like something more comfortable and suitable for highway Ks (both of the tyres on my bike look like this: (_) ), and I would like something to take to the dunes to learn/practice wheelies on, and then maybe motard later.
What do you think?
