Got my DRZ back now 'tarded. Dude that sold it to me lied about the state of the engine, it has now cost me a fair bit more than current model sm straight from the factory would have.

That sucks, I guess they get thrashed and with shorter service intervals tend to end up neglected.

Nope, thrashed it and used chemiweld to hide a bigger issue. Couldn't be cheaply fixed. It'll be riden for a while with a bit of a stinging sensation for me. Good now though thanks to Kamahl (K-tec). Need cheap SM plastics to finish it off though, I do like the current factory ones from Suzuki. The shorter beak like front guard etc.

I did a swap with MrMikes WR250X and my KTM450 Sx-f. I never rode it couldnt justify having the dirt bike sitting around collecting dust.

your in exmouth??/ Karratha somehting along those lines aint you desmo? Honestly for what i brought the tard for it is brilliant. Good for city driving, splitting, offroad shortcuts and such. Upright so you can been seen over the top of traffic etc etc. No looking back for me, will always have a need for a faired bike but through the city its the only way to go.
