I am also a RWD purist and think all cars should be RWD regardless of circumstances.

Why is that? I understand the performance advantage, but why should the Hyudai Getz have RWD adding to the cost?

It shouldn't exist at all. Oh, don't get my wrong, there is undoubtedly a need, or at least a place, for small cars, but stuff like a Getz is nothing more than an enclosed gopher with a bit more storage space. Make interesting small cars that are fun to drive rather than soul-sapping buzzboxes which cause anyone entering it to turn off the little brain function they usually have to deal with the slow death that is driving a POS like that.
