HFC vs WB. If you saw it, (I did) you'll understand why I'm crying into my beer. I feel so sad and lonely right now.

It's my nephews birthday some time next week so I walked into a toy shop and bought a plug and play pinball game for him and for me.
$50 reduced to $15.
I bought mine home and plugged it in.
Now I feel guilty.
Perhaps I should have guessed at the price drop.
What a shit piece of rubbish.
Perhaps it is my tv that makes it look shit.
Perhaps not.
I am however a little sad.
Fortunately I bought another game for him.
One that I could not pass up.
Called "the annoying game" I felt it would be a perfect game to post to my sisters son. Especially seeing as she lives on the other side of the country.
Hope they have fun with that one...

Nursing a hangover and watching REC, fuck off with the I'm being chased by zombie flesh eating people sea-sickness inducing handheld camera technique. My head hurts, it was an ok film. As I pointed out to my wife (who is Spanish) I get the impression all Spaniards yell and scream at each other and never talk at a pleasant level.

I need to lie down feeling sick. Honestly what idiot pours vodka into a jug of beer, it tasted shit and I only drank it out of politeness. There must have been half a bottle in the jug.

88 points is a long way from a drubbing.

I should know, I support Richmond

Shaun Higgins is a little gun. Chewed up the Hawks in the first half.

I don't think I could be any more dissappointed with Lance Franklin, it's like someone hit the fat reset button over summer.

He's not working for the ball at all. I've gone from shouting "Buddy Franklin!" to "Bloody Franklin!"

Talking with some of the guys who played against him in school, I wouldn't be surprised if he's gotten comfortable after last season.

Different people are motivated by different things.

He's already won a Premiership at the top level at a fairly young age.

Not much left to play for now (except massive pay cheques)

Depends what drives him.

Pressure for your place in the side is always motivation.

Against Brisbane we had 24 fully fit players to pick from, We have played 41 of the list this year (gives an idea of the revolving door though injury), Simply not having the cattle to be able to put pressure on a guy like Franklin is showing.

24 fully fit players how do you run match simulation drills? It's not the only problem with the club but it certainly doesn't help.

But he's already done that.

Perhaps in his mind, he's accomplished everything he really wants to and now he's just happy to pick up the dollars whil they are there.

If he was more insecure, he'd be a better team footballer.

I don't subscribe to this theory that a 22-year-old would be satisfied with a sole AFL Premiership.

If that was enough to satisfy us, we'd all chuck muck as adolescents and spend the rest of our days watching telly.
