British band, this is the first single off their upcoming second album - I've had album no. 1 on heavy repeat around my house/car - and there is no song that doesn't display beautiful songwriting. New favorite band material right here. If you're into this kind of thing.

For the sake of stating the obvious but perhaps helping this thread - listen to TripleJ unearthed digital station, they're doing a fairly good job of uncovering some up-and-comers (and unsigned, well known acts) across a fair few genres IMO.

Also, has anyone got the Discovr Music app? Awesome for finding bands and tracks that would have taken hours to stumble across in any other form of new music quest, mainly US bands tho.

Nothing beats making an effort to catch a new band live at the pub just because you've never heard of them before, I reckon.

I'll have to listen to some more of their stuff, a band I was in used to cover "Friends", loved it

Not sure how "unkown" they are as they've been round for a few years now, but their a local band and I don't hear much of them on the air.
I've seen them a few times at Mojo's and always put on a great show.
