RIP John Hughes (Hollywood Producer, not the dodgy car guy)

Breakfast Club director John Hughes dies - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

Director of so many great 80's movies; ferris buellers day off, breakfast club, sixteen candles, pretty in pink. Passed away suddenly today

I grew up watching his movies, RIP

In life you only get one lap, might as well make it a good one.

Yeah, it's a toss up between Ferris and Breakfast club though.
    RIP.

Ferris Bueller's is probably my favourite 80's movie... and Pretty in Pink was awesome... Duckie! Never knew this guy made all these, so it sucks he's dead. Pretty young age to die...

Edit: He produced National Lampoon's Vacation as well. http://au.eonline.com/uberblog/b1381...mdb_topstories

RIP, everything up until 1991 was great, after that, not so.
Anyone else reckon he could have been a double for Stephen King? or the Father figure to the Lost Boys?
