so who is seeing massive attack play 2nite in kings park?

i'm nearly 30 and must be one of the youngest ones here. What a refreshing change after the festival season.

Anyone else here under the nice sky?

Say hi to my 60 odd year old Dad, he's there. Wish I was, work unfortunately messed that up.

support acts are very chilled out. A hint of reggae, hint of house, hint of chilled jazz.

was a big massive attack fan and saw them play about 10 years ago where they just thought they were all too cool and were really uninspiring. felt ripped off, so they never getting another dollar from me! great studio band though.

they start at 8 so will see. It.s very civilised with bottles of wine, and chairs and kids. To be honest i was expecting a slightly different crowd.

Lucky i opted out of the party starters tonight. I'd be swinging from a tree by now scaring the mums.

Worth a listen Perdition. They still have that darker sound they had since Mezzanine and 100th Window. Mind you I still like their sound having been a fan since Blue Lines.

I thought the gig was good. Heligoland took some time to grow on me but now I love it. Worth giving it some time. Not as full on as mezzanine and a slightly different vibe to 100th window (my favorite, especially butterfly caught). As said above they are brilliant studio artists, and for a live set I think they did great.

........blue lines, classic album that one.
