Knowing I can look outside, see blue sky and jump on the bike and let all my troubles get left behind because they can't keep up.
Knowing life can go up and down and when its up like it is now, nothing can wipe that smile off my face. Whenever life sucks all you gotta do is make one change and everything falls into place.
Had an awesome new years and its just set the stage for what will be an awesome year. Life rocks

When I'm sick and waking up to find my beautiful golden retriever resting his head on my bed watching me sleep, then him spend the whole day laying by my bed, on constant guard after he somehow knew there was something wrong. When he spazzes out after you come home and the little quirks like picking up his bowl and throwing the food out after changing his brand of dog food. On walks he never needed a lead, he'd bound along with you and sit at all the roads. Scared to death of thunderstorms though, you'd hear a rumble in the distance and he'd run in and hide under your bed, a big golden retriever trying to hide under your bed.

He was only 9 when he got very very sick, almost two years ago now. I really miss him.

Couldn't have said it any better myself!

There's also nothing like getting home from work, having your partner waiting with a glass of *insert favourite alcoholic beverage here* & them insisting that you go & sit outside together to enjoy a drink & chat about the day while enjoying the background music & nice evening. Much better than getting home & being annoyed cos of traffic/transport/work then running around like a headless chook to hurry up & get showered, get dinner on, eat, get dishes done, do chores.......

So important to take time to just enjoy life & being with the one/s you love rather than sweating the small stuff!!

You been teaching him things, +1?

A good thing in my life - nay the BEST - would be moving on and finding someone actually deserving and appreciative of me.

You know who you are.

thanks

Freedom, the ability to pack up and wander when I like.

Been having a few conversations with a friend who just cant make that decision. To move and explore. To live life rather than stagnate. Im really begining to appreciate it.

I know its not for everyone. But some of the people I talk to, want to but just cant seem to make that decision. Just do it. Its much easier.
