and I'm not talking about the usual soggy pile of prawns and a couple of fish fillets floating in grease + salad
If anyone's been to anything good lately please share.

Observation at Scarbs and the angling club on the coast road north of G's pizza are pretty good for that kind of stuff.
Haven't been for a while but Jettys at Hillarys used to be great for seafood.
I too am interested in finding other places, preferably SOR.
Go ahead and play the blues if it'll make you happy.

i know it's not quite what you're after, but i try to steer clear of the seafood buffets - way too many bad nights afterwards.
i prefer to pay a little more for a good seafood platter from a seafood place like meads, clancy's, etc and get good food that hasn't been handled by kids with their butt scratching fingers...

I went to a restaurant almost opposite the Left Bank (can't remember the name)
Shared a seafood platter between two, and it was more than enough.
+1 for not having kids' fingers on my food.

Who does the best cooked prawns (to buy) in Perth ? How much $
I recon Jetty in hillaries is awsome, they thave won a bunch of golden plates too, its around $40pp.
Someone mentions observation city, im not sure if you were talking about the pines, cause every time ive been there it has been terrible food with a small fairly crappy selection, ive have better food at the city food court, (thats saying something)
lol actually when I said 'no soggy pile of shit' I was thinking of the pines (Anywhere that has buy one get one free shop a docket coupons can't be trusted IMO). It seems like if I want good seafood I should steer clear of buffets and stick with seafood platters.
I'll try out a few of the suggestions and see how I go.
Hi All,
To bump and old thread does anyone have any buffets they can recommended?
Anyone been to the "Cafe" at the Hyatt for the buffet?
Cheers
