Don't want to be rude, but when you pricks driving trucks, semis, B doubles, or whatever, start obeying simple road rules, like stopping at red lights, then people like me might start treating you like real people.

But, when I get a green light, but cannot proceed because some stupid fucker driving a truck can't be arsed stopping, which means if i go, then I die, well you, and all your trucker mates can get fucked.

And besides, Convoy was so seventies, you've just got to be a wanker, not a trucker......don't sya another word, I want to forget you just the way you are.

thats it ken - vent that truckin spleen - just what this threads all about - and what a way to kick it all off -
course you gotta remember that it ain't all that easy pulling up - 40 tonnes of truck - when the lights suddenly change on ya -
or even worse when the weights up around 80 ton on a roadtrain - ya see its a bit like - when wan*ers - (course you never would) -
pull out in front of trucks not understanding that really - the 80 ton truck - is actually equal to - the weight of 80 - one ton cars -
glued together with sticky tape - but no - i'me sure you just never would -
it's great to know - that we really do have sensible, courteous, safe & understanding drivers - like you - on the roads every day -
Hallelujah brother - praise the good car driver - (Yeah right !!!) - perhaps this tag below may be of a help to you - re this thread -

Anyone seen that "Lord of the Rigs" truck, see it out at work heaps, mobile work of art. On another note, had to fix a fair few trucks at work that breakdown just as they get there, amazing what a piece of shit a few of them are when you lift the bonnet, wouldn't drive em down to the shop let alone out to a remote minesite.

I have nothing but praise for the majority of truck drivers and the crap they have to put up with on the roads on a day to day basis.
If only more road users had as much common sense as you guys our roads would be a much better place to be on.

Saw these pics in my pre-start about 6/7 days ago.. Story I got was rio site... truck loaded by geograph energy.. Driver braked quickly..the rest is history

I only drive a MR but i looove it when people play "cut off the truck" on the freeway/merging. And the best one when pulling up at lights, you have your braking distance all sussed out, then some wanker pulls in front of you. Suddenly you have 5 metres less to stop safely, get 2 cars pull into that lovely space and shit gets interesting. I dont know how you guys driving HR or HC do it every day.

even more fun with concessional loading 23.5 instead of 20 tonne for each tri axle group totals to 98 tonne gross on mine, and i've had far too many say things like "more axles equals more brakes you should be able to stop better than me" or the best one yet when rear ended at 15km/h down a steep hill "if you can't keep to the speed limit you shouldn't even be on the road"
