Saw it at the paddo with a few FFC buddies on Sunday morning.

    Strange, decision and Machida ...

And this really pisses me off: Lyoto Machida Says He 'Was Superior' In UFC 104 Fight With Shogun Rua - FightLine.com

Velasquez was impressive. Too bad they stopped the fight so soon, Rothwell was getting punished but he was still moving around..

might want to chuck it in spoiler tags

Couldn't believe they awarded him all 5.

Dana has apparently scheduled an immediate rematch

Agreed with the Rothwell stoppage, even Velasquez seemed a bit stumped by it

I enjoyed the fights, though it was pretty frustrating at times.

Johnson has some serious power ... and Yoshida didn't look like he stood a chance. Was short but sweet. (And as the commentators said, Johnson really needs to be bumped up a weight class).

I liked the way Joe Daddy finished the fight- twas very nice. Fisher's performance was a bit disappointing. I expected a bit more from him.

Ditto for Okami - I wanted to see him win, but he just couldn't do much. Sonnen was very confident and pushed the pace a lot... but he had no power and barely did any damage.

The Neer vs Tibau fight was a bit frustrating. Tibau had beautiful take downs... but that's all he had?! Neer was good at getting out of trouble and seemed pretty dangerous... but never really unleashed.

Rothwell got outclassed by Velasquez, but I agree that Mazzagatti stopped the fight prematurely. I reckon Rothwell was going to go down anyway in the next few minutes - but at the time of the stoppage, he was in the process of getting up and appeared to be handling the beating.

And that brings me to the Machida/Shogun fight. I was initially going for Machida but found myself being increasingly impressed with Shogun. His strategy worked really well and his kicks were great to watch.

When they announced Machida had won from a unanimous decision, I was floored. I still think Shogun was robbed.

    Dang, sorry Dubs.

I searched for UFC104 instead of UFC 104

EDIT: What Tresor said. Good sum up of the card.
