We stayed here for our 10th anniversary recently:

Fawkes House Bed & Breakfast

Stayed in the coach house. Nothing super fantastic, but nice, large spa, good cooked breaky in the morning. Other half did not do any of the day spa treatments so can't comment on those.

Is close by, we actually went to the Atrium (Burswood) for dinner as it was only 20 min drive and there are plenty of other nice resturants up in the hills to choose from.

Might be a bit too close to home for you though.

Its a pity there isn't cheap deals to places like broome or Exmouth ... I'd sit on a plane for an hour cramped up but being 6"2 the jetstar, tiger seating etc is not the best.

Re rotto, not cold, it's in the Leeuwin Current.

Mid summer 24*, at the moment it's about 21*. I'm still diving with 5mm long johns and a 0.5mm sleeved vest, comfy as. You can also (finally) get fills again on the island too.

I would have if the plane fares weren't so fkn expensive ... can fly outside of Australia cheaper than you can get to Broome or Exmouth.

If you can find me a $99 ticket to exmouth i'd take it in an instant.

Great for getting hotel rooms cheap, book in for the Friday, sat night and head there lunchtime Friday, use all the facilities, be it pool/spa/whatever. Used to go every 2 months to a hotel around Perth for a fun weekend. Pretty cheap and very relaxing.

I just got back from a few days in Waroona. Now, there's not a lot to do there, but the bed and breakfast that work put us up in was top notch, so much so that I'd consider looking for reasons to go back....

there is a really nice day spa type place in the peth foothills....??????pleasant valley...happy valley...some such thing...massages available, your own bbq and spa on a wood deck verandah....very romantic....food in the firdge if you want it....will remember the name when I am sober....

bunker bay resort, its hell pretty and has a very good day spa in the hotel, its just near bussleton! take her there and seious action will follow! And its around that price range

We went to Yallingup Lodge for Valentines Day and had a couples massage and it was bliss. Full size spa, breakfast every morning and a king bed - heaven!

I'm sure you're already booked somewhere but Forest Rise Eco Retreat, Margaret River - spa with a glass roof above with a view to the tree tops (no ceiling/perv cat). very noice... must go back one day...
