WSRs / LNRs - The Year just gone 2011

Carrying on from last year WSR's / LNR's 2010 - the year just gone
and the previous years LNR's 2009 - the year just gone and LNR's 2008 - the year just gone

2,646 riders (down 270 from last year), 52 rides = average 51 riders per ride, with around 220,000 kms ridden.

Smallest ride - 6 riders (6th December - weather related and smallest EVER!!)

Largest ride - 114 riders (12th January), second largest 104 riders (20th January)

No rides cancelled - and only 3 wet rides, a couple that had small showers.

2 rides led by Speedtrip, due to my illness/holidays and one by Greeny6, Playdoh and Don, thanks guys

TEC duties were performed by a number of different riders, CM's were also on occasion a bit random, becoming more stable towards the end of the year, thank you to those that stepped up when asked and continue to help out. CM's perform a valuable job and it tends to go a little haywire without them, so thank you to those that donned a yellow vest.

A BIG thanks to all those the perform Shadow duties as well, you are like Gold and your help along with the CM's makes everything happen a special BIG hug to those that also act CM's.

Drops/Offs - A couple, with only 2 of these being new riders, plus 1 caused by an oil patch and 1 a black cat I believe. 1 Breakdown (battery), a few minor insidences after the ride, but nothing major.

A couple of rides seemed to be Poilce Central, but not really much of a hassle

I hope that you all continue to enjoy the rides and not take things too seriously and think about your own and other riders safety, before you do anything untoward or even a little dodgy.

Please try and remember we're all friends sharing the same joy of riding and being out with fellow riders and we should all be able to expect to get back to the start point the same way we started - stress free and happy.
