Central to alot of things, e.g Workplace, Friends, Beaches.

many people pick the unsafe suburbs as it makes the inlaws affraid of coming around.

lived here twenty years, had one home burglary, one car stolen both times over 15 years ago. Someone beat their partner to death 1-2 years ago in our street, but I feel safe wandering the streets anytime.
20 years ago would have been a 5 now a 9.

Beechboro - No problems so far. Live on Tonkin Side of Altone so ment to be the "Nicer Side". Hear the occasional trail bike and burnout but not all the time.

Girrawheen...there is not too much i can say without offending a certain race, but a usual friday night usualy consists of a cop car or 2, an ambulance and usualy both drunk husband and wife leaving seperately in either po-po vehical or handcuffed to a stretcher. sometimes when the relations come down theres a few nights of entertainment...like cops knocking on your door at 2am, when u have an exam the next day, asking if you hav heard anything coz the neighbour just "hung" himself on a clothesline that was a metre shorter than he was. oh well, bit of fun to be had in the suburb.

Mt Lawley rates 5 I have had no probs but having spoken to a few people with bike's taken near me I don't keep my bike at home. I keep it in midland for safety.
Lived in rivervale for 12 months burgled once mugged by 5 dudes walking on the river. if I found out who the F**'s where it would be a safe suburb now.

Live in Forrestfield would say about a 3 & have lived in Belmont about a 5 maybe 6/7 in the areas I have lived
