i focuse on the gap between the hands and ass and it eventually goes the other way... might not work for others though

try watching for like 5-10 rotations, and then close your eyes and imagine it as being fleshed out (ie. not a silhouette). Then imagine the fleshed out version stopping and rotating in the other direction, watch it in your head for another 5 rotations, then open your eyes.

You might not get it the 1st time, but thats how I got it.

I focus on the leg thats spinning sticking out, watch a few rotations and reverse it, it will take you a while to do but you will get it.

I specifically pay attention to when it is infront or behind the figure.

If you watch carefully you can see that she actually changes legs when it switches around from her left leg to her right
