    Dockers Sack Harvey!

Just heard on the radio driving home ... the Dockers have run off Mark Harvey.

    I await Desmo's response.
I never liked the guy, always seemed annoyed/angry.

Meh, we need a proven premiership winning coach - not Ross Lyon.

    Desmo or Harvey?

Personally I think the Dockers have made the wrong call yet again. The coach can only do so much with the players at his disposal and with the spate of injuries in the latter half of the season, he didn't have a lot to work with.
Good luck to Ross Lyon, he is about to inherit the poisoned chalice. Shame on you Dockers

One bad season from injury can be attributed to bad luck, three can be attributed to poor player management. Watch enough dockers games from this year, and you'll see a consistent story of players not working properly as a team, and not being held responsible for their actions. Bear in mind though, I think this is an ingrained club culture problem, not just a coaching problem.

The club has no culture and never will have. Ever seen them train? They spend most days looking at a whiteboard. Let's be honest most players are not Rhodes scholars. It is a fairly simple game, why try and complicate it with set plays that rarely work? Not a Dockers fan (go the Swans) but my offsider is and I am sick and tired of being a grief counsellor most Mondays.

They said that about Sydney. Since then, they went on to win a premiership!

If ya a Swans supporter & not a Freo fan then why comment.
    Love the Dockers.
Personally I welcome the news. I sympathise with Harvey, but one finals appearance in 4 years is dismal.

If the rumour mill is true then...welcome Ross Lyon

"The Australian" mentions Mick Malthouse as a possibility! ... wouldn't that be the ultimate insult to the Eagles.

Because I have worked in Freo for 25 years and all the hype since the Dockers entered the AFL has been nothing but that.
Long shot for next coach, Crackers Keenan, assistant Warwick Capper.

If Desmo gets the coaching job, at least they will have some biting comments!

    Only if Fremantle win.
