I get a couple a month wandering into my house. Normally only 20 mm long though, but they are usually pretty fiesty - so I avoid getting too close to their stinger - i'd guess it wouldn't tickle. I just catch them in a cup and toss them outside to catch bugs, sort of a natural insecticide I guess.

I don't think he will eat the spider. Try to find a little slater, or a beetle of some sort, I think he might eat those.
