Bike Fatal accident roe hwy ( kwinana freeway)

Ive just been informed by a work mate a bike rider has been killed on the roe hwy on ramp off kwinana freeway south bound I dont know of any bike details unfortunately

Friends, Tonight I write to you with a sad and heavy heart. My Son Ben has left us. I cannot find the words to express my feelings just now. I express my thanks to the many people involved with this evening. Our home will never be the same.

Words seem to be useless at this point. Ben rode to live, and lived to ride.

My deepest thanks to Dave, Charley, Dan, Bonnie, Tam, Aramis, Becboo and many others. I shall keep you appraised in due course. My devoted and unconditional love goes to my son Ben, his brother Jacob, sister Danica, and my beloved wife Gilda who is a better person than I right now. If there is a God, he is struck from my list this very day.

As I post this, plans are underway for a fitting finale for my son and riding companion. I shall post details to follow.................

He was travelling in the same direction as a truck onto the Roe Hwy on ramp where it seems the bike high-sided and unavoidably was struck by the truck following him. Death was instant. There is nothing more to add or subtract.

We shall all miss him dearly - I love you son.

Being the first on scene to a fatal is not fun, I know from experience. Not sure if it's a regular thing for you or not but that's largely irrelevant.
