Late last night, early this morning, info I heard was the rider hit a light pole suspension wire, ie RIP, anyone? The info I heard was 2nd hand from an apparent witness.

heard about it this morning on the radio... tho I didnt think it was Spearwood.
How do you hit a powerpole.. veering around a cage that pulled out in front maybe? Too fast on an unfamiliar bend? heard the poor bugger was killed... RIP

Yeah the witness dude said that he hit a guide wire or something, there was a speed stated, but ill leave that hearsay out, also the damage was catastropic to the rider apparently

Heard about that too...R.I.P.

Also heard that a rider was down on Orrong Road/ Leach Highway today around 12ish....dont know any other details than that.

yeah had abot 10 sms so far tonight.. was a R1 wrapped around the pole according to the scanner.. had a few cop mates sms me asking if it was me..

News report said it was a 26y/o rider I think, according to his details he is 31 so hopefully it isnt him. You are right though the description matches his bike...
