Exercise Spin Bike

Hi guys.

Unfortunately the young guy mentioned in this rider was a friend of mine. Unbelievably good bloke.
The story you have is correct Steve. Den couldnt sleep and decided to go out for a ride. His girlfriend (high school sweethearts) was woken at 5am by the police who told her the news.
This has seriously shaken my close group of friends in a big way. Den's best mate (also Dens girlfriends brother) was set to have his engagement party the same weekend. The two of them were inseperable and needless to say the mate is now inconsolable.
It was only a week ago I was having a conversation with Den on how his new bike was treating him. Den has ridden dirtbikes and road bikes for quite a while now. At least he passed doing something he loved.

I'm pretty sure Den wasnt on PSB.com but if he had known about it im sure he would have joined in an instant.

Den you passing has left a hole in everybodies hearts. May you rest in peace bro.

Dave

Sorry to hear of your loss JiggyJigs, as this community continues to grow it will always become more common place for a member to know a rider that has come to grief. Take comfort in that there is a lot of support here amongst the PSB community if you need it.

Shocking news. Found out last night my mate is the girlfriends cousin. He reiterated JiggyJigs' thoughts on what a top bloke Den was and of the absolute devastation felt by all those he left behind. Hope the funeral went as well as a funeral can go. May he rest in peace.

Hey guys, Den lived next door to my sister in-law..... very sad! His future/to-be mother in-law came over and told them all about it. FACT was she advised he had been drinking that evening at some family get together........ Now they say dont drink and drive, but you are just asking for striff on a bike if you have been drinking!

not only that he had been with-out a bike for 7yrs (thats what his girls mum said) so buying an R1 when you havent riden for so long is a bit iffy to if you ask me............ even if you did grow up riding bikes.

ANYWAY,

RIP and Peace and Love to your famliy and Friends DEN!
