Posting with the consent of Cameron's family, they would like to thank everyone for their 'well wishes' but ask that we not visit Cameron at this stage and leave it to the immediate family.

Cameron is still receiving treatment.

May our thoughts be with them.

Michelle has advised that Scott will post up when he's able.

People,
Scott is my cousin and we are both the same age with children nearly the same age and I have been involved with the MCRC since 1974 and have witnessed first hand what Scott and Michelle are going through many times. I also know that the racing and motorcycle community are a very close knit bunch who will always look out for each other and help out where required. At the moment Scott and Michelle need time to themselves and their son so if you wish to help in any way please ring Scott's sister Robyn on 0434 001 034.

Guys & Girls,

Michelle, Vanessa & I are so thankful for the offers of help and support since Camerons tragic accident. We are just filled with the deepest sorrow at what has happened to our beautiful son & brother.

Cameron has suffered a massive brain injury from which he will not recover. He has been in a coma since the moment of the accident. All life support has been withdrawn to allow nature to take its course. He was transferred from ICU this afternoon into palliative care.

He is not aware of anything. He is comfortable. He is in no pain. He is being taken good care of by the staff.

I have been following this thread and keeping my fingers crossed for good news, sadly this is not the case.

I can't think of any words to say to help lessen your sorrow at the moment, but you can read all the responses in here and know that your son has touched a lot of people, and is liked and respected by all.

As a father myself, I can only imagine how hard your first and last posts must have been to write.

The thoughts of myself and the rest of my family are with you, please accept our most sincere condolences.

I've had everything crossed for Cam over the last few days so I'm devastated to read your post. My sincere condolences to you Scott, Michelle and Vanessa. I only got to know Cam this year and thoroughly enjoyed his company and competitiveness.
