Friday near bunbury...

As I was driving to Dunsborough on Friday, I went thru Bunbury around lunchtime. About 10 minutes out of bunbury traffic had slowed right down as the police had blocked off the right hand lane of southbound traffic due to an accident. As I went past, a black cruiser style bike lay on it's side, bits of helmet were scattered all over the road and some bags from the bike were thrown about 10m further south down the road. A red nissan patrol sat facing north in the right hand southbound lane with a smashed windscreen. It seems both vehicles had attempted to use the same break in the median strip at the same time and collided. All parties involved in the accident were no longer at the scene, only police and tow truck drivers.

I never had a chance to read the paper or watch the news while I was away, although on the way home, I noticed freshly laid flowers and wreaths at the sight of the accident so I can only assume it was fatal.

The accident happened at the Golf Course Access road just south of bunbury on friday, probably morning. Did anybody hear about this?
