Tan and I went to the Dawn service this morning. Tan cried, I fought back tears. All the people who lost their lives for their country, family and friends, for what we take for granted. Very proud to be there.
This gives me chills to read, but sums up the fallen ANZAC's perfectly.
Ataturk's speech to the mothers of the ANZACs ?(1934):
Those heroes that shed their blood and lost their lives... you are now lying in the soil of a friendly country.
