In Memory of the Best Mate I Ever Had. Max.

This is just a small tribute to a Specail Mate that passed away last Monday.

Max was with Cherie and I for just over 16 years, and he saw us through all the good times and plenty of the bad times aswell.

Actually he was responsible for most of the good times and for turning alot of the bad times around.

At 6 years of age we managed to find him a suitable partner in Rosie and they went on to breed 20 odd puppies, all of who brought excessive amounts of joy to their new owners.

To all of you out there that get to share their life with a Furry Mate, I offer a small peice of advice.

Spend us much time with them as you can, because they leave an enormous whole in your life when they have to leave.

    Here's to you Maxy.
We loved you everyday of your life and will remember you for the rest of ours.

    Benno and Rie...

Such a shame, sorry for your loss.

My cat recently died and people don't realise how upsetting it is and how much they impact your life.

    sensational looking dog.

i'm in the process of getting a staffy or a staffy x now, and if we find something that looks half as good as him we will be very happy.

feel for you. great pics though.

So sorry to hear Benno, he looks like he was playful and lovable. I am one of these people who believes pets are people too, so when one passes it is like losing a member of the family not just an animal. Glad he brought a lot of joy to your lives. He will live in your memory *hugs*

so so sad. Glad you shared 16 years together (longer than you have probably known some of your best other mates I bet). I'll really like your advice too.

Thanks for sharing the gorgeous pics of Max, Rosie and their lil family. I hope you can fill the void with a new love soon.

    My Condolances.
Mate my kelpie (Storm) is 17 this year and looks like I need to have her put down as she's got arthritis in her rear legs from all her jumping glory days. It's a decision thats hard to make and as you say there will be a big void that she will leave.

    Some People just don't understand.

Condolences. I know how you feel. One of our dogs died just over a year ago after he was attacked when we were walking him and his brother. I still wake up wondering if he'll jump on the bed in the morning and lick my face to say hello with his stinky breath.

All the best finding another great dog, they really are one of the family.
